What are the best paying audio jobs in the industry? I'm having trouble finding internships/job opportunities in Louisville, KY. Does anyone on the forum have any suggestions on where to look? Everyone is always saying go to career events. But they're always AT LEAST 12 hours away from me. I thought there was one in Tennessee but it wasn't a career fair, it was an event for lower budget companies to talk about their gear.

Outside of a top 10 city, paying audio work (>$10/hr) may be limited to television and radio--every region has those, contact them. You may also have local live/corporate sound companies.

There's not really such a thing as an audio career fair, definitely do not wait for that to roll through!
