Study Abroad Program in Norway PDF Print E-mail

This fulltime study is designed to build upon a 3-4 years bachelors in music or a related field and provides a viable alternative to a professional internship.

The program provides students with different backgrounds a combination of musical and technical study and experience, enabling the production and recording of various musical styles. Elements of the study can be modified to allow for specialization based on a student’s individual experience and interests.

Applicants must document experience and education in music and sound. International applicants, including ERASMUS students, are welcomed and encouraged to apply. The program is taught in English and has hosted students from Europe, Africa, Asia, North and South America, and Scandinavia. The program is limited to ten qualified students per year.

The 60 ECTS program develops the musical and technical skills required by the music recording professional. It also includes a review of relevant music and engineering topics, music recording and production techniques, studio and musical acoustics, critical listening and interpretation, and practical work.

Please note the priority deadline for international applications is now Dec. 15th, but application will also be taken under considered after this date.
